Since 1905, ESME has been training engineers capable of innovating to address energy and digital transition issues as well as social and environmental challenges. Its offer of Master’s Degree Programs has since then evolved, and 3 of our 18 now taught entirely in English.
ESME is a private higher education institution. The school grants the French Degree of Engineering, “ Diplôme d’ingénieur ”, equivalent to a Master’s degree certified by the “ French Commission on Engineering Credentials ” (CTI).
Our school’s approach on English-taught programs is complete, covering all study years from undergraduate level up to the master’s degree. French and International students get to study together, in the same classrooms.
French as a Foreign Language lessons “FLE” are also taught to international students.
Our school has over a century of experience in training engineers. ESME is a proud member of the prestigious consortium of high-level French engineering and business schools“ Grandes écoles ”, whose students are selected through highly competitive entrance examinations.
According to the Usine Nouvelle’s 2023 independent Ranking ESME is ranked 11 the 131 top Schools of engineering in France. 96% of our graduates get hired within two months after graduation.

OBJECTIVES
Among our 18 Majors, ESME offers 3 English-Taught Master’s Degrees.
Each of them leads to the obtention of the Engineering Degree, equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
CYBERSECURITY
Learn solid skills in advanced specification, design, development, implementation and maintenance of secure systems. Investigate vulnerabilities of a given system or solutions such as scanning techniques and penetration testing, from theoretical and practical point of view.
IoT AND SMART CITIES
Develop technical expertise in the IoT infrastructures (licensed and unlicensed connectivity), networking, cybersecurity and data science, as well as with a developed sense of the value chain of IoT and data, and of the opportunity and challenges that they represent.
POWER CONVERSION & MANAGEMENT
Learn to design power converters, regulate electrical conversion chains, choose and implement motor control systems, deploy the electrical installation of buildings, or manage large-scale power conversion projects for companies and organizations.
THE ENGINEERING TITLE
ESME delivers its engineering degree following approval from the CTI, overseen by the French Ministry of Education which ensures the quality of education programs.
